Name of the Test/Exam Description Levels
Young Learners (YLE) Gets children of primary school age and upwards on the path to learning English. After completing YLE, children can aim for further qualifications such as the key English Test (KET), the Preliminary English Test (PET) and the First Certificate in English (FCE). (YLE - Starters, Mover, Flyer - Level Pre-A1, Level - A1, Level A2)
Key English Test (KET) A certificate that shows a pupil can deal with everyday written and spoken English at a basic level. (KET - Level A2, For School - Level A2)
Preliminary English Test (PET) A certificate that shows a pupil can deal with everyday written and spoken English at a intermediate level. (PET - Level B1, For School - Level B1)
First Certificate in English (FCE) For people who can use everyday written and spoken English at an upper - intermediate level. (FCE - Level B2)

LinguaSkill Diagnostic Helps you prepare towards the Cambridge ESOL qualification appropriate for you. LinguaSkill Diagnostic will test all four language skills and accurately assess your English language skills.

(Complete test i.e. all 3 modules) - Level A1 to C2, (Standard test i.e Listening & Reading) - Level A1 to C2,(Writing) Level A1 to C2 (Speaking) - Level A1 to C2

Key English Test (KET) Recognises the ability to cope with everyday written and spoken English at a basic level. (KET - Level A2)
Preliminary English Test (PET) An exam for people who can use everyday written and spoken English at an intermediate level in work, study and social situations. PET is an important step towards attaining higher qualifications. (PET - Level B1)
First Certificate in English (FCE) An exam for people who can use everyday written and spoken English at an upper-intermediate level for business or study. Recognised by many universities and employers. (FCE - Level B2)
Certificate in Advanced English (CAE) An advanced certificate, CAE indicates an ability to deal confidently with English in most professional, academic and social situations. CAE is officially recognised by university, employers and governments around the world. (CAE - Level C1)
Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE) Cambridge ESOL's most advanced exam, signifying a very high level of accomplishment in using spoken and written English in a variety of professional, academic and social contexts. Widely recognised by UK universities and by other teaching organisations and employers worldwide. (CPE - Level C2)
